Infusing the oil:
Fill a canning jar full of comfrey leaves and then pour pure olive oil over the
leaves. Let this sit in a warm place for at least 2 weeks.
Make salve:
Drain oil from comfrey leaves. Melt 2-3 ounces of beeswax in a double boiler. Stir
in infused oil a little at a time. Continue to stir in oil until the mixture
reaches desired consistency.
Store:
Store the salve in small glass jars and seal them tightly. Keep in a cool dark
place until ready to use. Do not place in open wounds or take internally.
